Alright, time for our first contest!!

As you all know, the new album has been released. It's amazing like all the others, so why not base the first contest around the music and lyrics?

So here it is, guys!

Take a picture, paint a patinting, draw a drawing, anything, just do art! Write a poem if you can. Anything that is inspired by Snow Patrol's NEW album, Eyes Open. I know we have mostly photography up on this website, but take that as an example. That's the stuff we want for this contest!!

It can contain lyrics, but it doesn't have to. It could just be a painting that you felt inspired to paint after listening to their new album. Anything having to do with them will do!

Requirements:

Can be any type of art. Pictures, paintings, drawings, fractals, poems, prose; anything is welcome!!

Must be inspired by Snow Patrol lyrics and/or music from their NEW ALBUM ONLY!! There will be plenty of contests for other albums later.

You must submit it in your personal deviantART account first. After you have done this, please send the club a note titled Submission with a link to your art piece. The description will be used as it is in the link that you send to me. If you would like something different, please specify in the note.

Obviously, no copyright violations

It can be an old deviation that wasn't designed specifically for this contest, or it can be a new one. Which ever is fine, since this is our first contest. Don't expect old deviations to be accepted in future contests.

Voting

The winner will be determined by voting on a poll. Members can do this, but I might open it to the public so others can vote as well. This will be determined later. Because the winner is decided by the club as a whole, the Queen and Vice-Queen are both able to enter the contest with their own works. If anyone has a problem with this, please note the club and we will deal with the issue then.

YOU CAN PICK! Want that new Snow Patrol CD but don't want to pay for it? Go ahead. It's yours if your piece is chosen winner!

Already have it? How about a subscription to deviantART? Since this is our first contest, I'll throw in a YEARS SUBSCRIPTION to encourage entries!

If you don't want either of these prizes, perhaps we can work out something else if you win. I'm quite flexable and I love giving things away so just think of something.
